Skip Tracing Solo Protocol

Overview and plans

Solo skip tracing is for members who already have their own leads. You email the leads to us, we run the skip trace across multiple tools, and we return the results in a Google Sheet. Plans are priced per week by volume.

Every plan returns the claimant plus up to 15 relatives per lead in a Google Sheet. DNC scrubbing is an add-on. Teams that need more than 200 leads a week can ask about Enterprise.

How solo skip tracing works

1. Subscribe. Pick a weekly plan on the Skip Tracing Solo page or the Pricing page and complete checkout.
2. Email your leads. Send one spreadsheet per batch (Excel, CSV or Google Sheet) to support@surplusfortune.com with the details listed below.
3. We check the batch. We confirm the file has the required details and fits your weekly volume.
4. We run the skip trace. Each lead goes through multiple skip tracing tools for the best accuracy.
5. DNC scrubbing, if you added it. Numbers are scrubbed against DNC before the sheet is returned.
6. You receive your sheet. Results come back in a Google Sheet with the claimant plus up to 15 relatives, within the plan’s daily turnaround.

What to send and what you receive

Include these columns for every lead:

• Mailing address
• Auctioned address
• Owner name
• Sale date
• County
• Parcel address
• Case number

DNC, support and what is not included

• DNC: scrubbing is an add-on on every plan. Without it, numbers are returned as traced and the member is responsible for checking them before dialing.
• Support: email support@surplusfortune.com for questions about a batch or a sheet.
• Already buying our leads? Skip tracing and DNC tagging are already included in the Gold, Platinum and Business Setup lead plans, so you do not need solo skip tracing for those leads.
• Not included: lead sourcing, cold calling, and a guarantee that every lead will have a working number.
